I am very grateful for every single one of you supporting me in my professional journey.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking in the past few weeks and even few months about who I am and who I want to be professionally. You know, it’s weird to have worked so hard and worked so long to become a psychotherapist and, and make an impact in the field of psychotherapy and the work I’ve done in solution focused brief therapy and then several years ago to be brought into the entertainment world, which at the time I viewed as an amazing opportunity to spread mental health messages and prioritize mental health and reach more people with a message of mental health than I was doing before.

At the time, I was just speaking to psychotherapists and teaching them how to do solution focus brief therapy. But these days, my message is carrying much, much further. And to be honest with you, it’s kind of rattled me a bit and caused some confusion and caused me to have to kind of restructure my business, restructure my professional life, and caused me to ask the really difficult questions of who am I and who do I want to be?

And I’m really happy to, to be in a space now where I feel like I’m kind of answering those questions and I know who I want to be and I know what I want to do and, and it’s okay if I want to keep doing both. This past weekend, I was at an event, the the sixth annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, hosted by a man named Jason Lee.

And I was walking the red carpet. And if you’ve never done this, it’s really for promotion and celebrities, which I don’t think I’m a celebrity, but I get invited to walk on this red carpet, and they’re taking pictures of me and asking me to stand here and stand there. And then there were these, these women along the red carpet. There are people that interview you, and if you’re a huge celebrity, you know, there’s like Vibe magazine or Time magazine, whatever, whatever news outlets, you guys get to get the picture.

And the big celebrity, they ask them all these things, like, so what’s it like to be in a relationship with, you know, Brad Pitt or, or how is it like to be at the exclusive parties hosted by, you know, whomever, like these big names. But when I was walking this red carpet, they were asking me about mental health. They were asking me, what do you hope people do to improve their mental health into 2026?

And, and how do you hope people address their mental health? And as I was doing that, it just kind of hit me that this is who I should be I think I should a mental professional who happens to exist in these spaces. And it helped me to go through that experience, which I’ve done before, but this one kind of hit a little differently. And it helped me to go through that experience and then realize, like, this is who I am, I’m where I’m supposed to be.

There aren’t a lot of mental health professionals in this space in the way that I am. So I gave myself permission to be a little confused and try to figure out how I want to land and where I want to sit and how I want it to be. But as I, as I get more grounded, I’m starting to realize I am where I want to be and I am where I need to be.

So I just want to thank you for supporting my journey and listening to my content and watching my videos and signing up for my emails and joining our courses and programs. You’ve meant more to me than I’m capable of expressing. And, and as I’ve sorted out trying to deal with this confusion, that’s the only word I can think to use. And I’m starting to land in a very solid place and I’m starting to feel good about who I am and giving myself permission to be different.

Because there’s lots of people who exist in the entertainment world and lots of people who exist in the psychotherapy world, in the academic space of the psychotherapy world, but there aren’t many that exist in both. And I have the privilege and opportunity to be that. And while it does cause some confusion and kind of rattled me a bit, shook the cage a little bit, it is nice to kind of get more grounded, get more secure and go through this process.

So I’m thankful, very thankful to you for allowing me that space and to be so supportive and to be part of my journey and to support my organization and support me. And I hope you’ll continue to do that as we continue to make amazing solution vocal free therapy training content as I continue to make the message of mental health something that the layperson all over the world can digest and, and expose the whole world to.

Solution, focus, brief therapy, which I think is the single best way to go about doing the work of psychotherapy. So thank you so much, Keep signing up, keep join, joining my stuff, keep supporting me and I promise you I’m going to keep giving you the very best that I got.
