Coming out to L.A., and meeting with successful producers and celebrities has impacted me, not because of their fame or fortune, but because of the backstories of how when they had NOTHING they still chose to fight for their passions with belief that it was their true purpose. Let\’s talk about why your own success is behind the door of trusting your own passions and pursuing them relentlessly.

Let me tell you the risk that you need to take. In fact, you so badly need to take this risk, the biggest risk you could ever take, is not taking this risk.

I\’m here in L.A., and when I come here, I get to do some really cool things. Working on TV projects and hanging out with some people that have had massive success in the entertainment industry. And after years of doing this, and I pay attention to these people, I realize they all have something in common.

Now, you would think, like, \”Oh, they took a risk and they got successful.\”, but that\’s actually not it.

What they all have in common is, they took some time to figure out exactly who they want to be. They took some time to figure out exactly what they want to do. They took some time to figure out exactly what that thing is that they have true passion for in their heart, in their soul, and in their spirit.

And then they decided, that\’s what I\’m going to do.

Now, all of them, at the onset of that journey, they didn\’t know they were going to end up in movies, or with rap albums, or with any of that stuff. They just knew, to not do this would cause me pain, and peril, and I\’ve got to do it.

So they all took time to figure out, \”Who do I want to be?\”, and \”How do I want to function?\” They all did it, and then they started working to make that happen.

Now, I can tell you one of the biggest issues that makes people come into psychotherapy is, they\’re living a life incongruent to their heart, soul, spirit and passion.

So if you want to live the life of your dreams, it\’s actually not about how big your house is, how nice your car is, how big your bank account is. It\’s not about any of that stuff.

If you want to live the life of your dream, it\’s actually about this one thing. Figuring out exactly who you want to be and then having the courage, the audacity, the gall, to go off and do it.

I promise you, you might get famous, you might get rich, you might get successful, but you\’ll get mentally healthy, mentally strong, and be living a life worth living.

So go take that risk, and do it, because you love it, not for any other reason.
