Here in America, we are entering into our holiday season and the first significant holiday we have that initiate or kicks off the holiday season is American Thanksgiving. And you know, there’s such a spirit of gratitude or at least for me, like, I think about all the things that I’m thankful for. And, you know, this video is actually just dedicated to you.

Like I am so thankful to you for allowing me to share my energy and my passion about change, people, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I’m so appreciative that you trust me with your training and you trust me to share training material. It just means the world to me. Like I sit and I think back to when I was in graduate school and really excited about learning to be a psychotherapist and super excited about the career I had ahead of me.

Stop feeling stuck in your sessions and start leading your clients to their desired outcome with confidence!

And at that time, all I was thinking really about was like, I want to have a therapy practice that I could live off of. Like, if you had asked me 15 years ago, what success looked like, I would have told you, it was me having a therapy practice that I could make a living off of. So now you fast forward 15 years and like, I’m one of the world leaders in this Solution Focused Approach thing.

And I run the largest training organization in Solution Focused Brief Therapy in the world and I have this huge massive following that I just couldn’t have imagined it. And none of it would have been possible if you weren’t so supportive, if you weren’t so remarkable, if you weren’t so amazing, and allow me into your life in this way, like, I am deeply appreciative that you are allowing me to do that. And as we go into this holiday season and in 2020 is the holiday season, unlike any other, like we’re not doing the commercialized things, we’re not getting together as families and hugging and kissing and doing all the things that we’ve been able to do in previous years because of the pandemic.

Now it’s really stripped down to the bare bones and base basic necessities of life. And because of that slowdown, and because of that process, that pause a little bit, it allows me to sit and think in a way that I probably wasn’t thinking before. And I really am just so overwhelmed with appreciation for your kindness that you let me into your life.

And I hope you experienced me as a resource and as an inspiration and as a source of confidence for you. Cause you have certainly done more for me than I think I can ever repay you for. I’m going to keep, I’m going to keep delivering and I’m going to keep creating content that I think will make a difference in your work and hopefully even in your life.

But I just want you to know that I’m aware that you’ve given me a gift that I’m not sure I will ever be able to repay. And as we go into this holiday season in 2020, I just wanted to take a moment and say, thank you.
